"Russian Renault", 1920

"Russian Renault", 1920

Now it is my turn as well to start a build.

Will be finishing my 1/35 "Russian Renault". The built began a year ago, but after couple of weeks was interrupted by other "activities". The base model is RPM 1/35 FT17, which require so many corrections it is not even funny. The changes I have to make to the model are not due to a questionable historical accuracy only, but the scale and thickness of many details is not too pleasant also.

I am using PE by Aber (you just can't go wrong with Aber); got Fril tracks in my stash, and the main work is done from scratch.

The spring was made from scratch and took several tries, but it looks so much better than the original plastic one.
