Group Build Terms and Rules

For those of us who are into the scale modeling hobby, Armor Journal is happy to announce our group build that will be held on our Forum. Here are the main Rules & Terms:

1. The topic of the Build is “Soviet & Russian Armor”.
2. Dates of the build: November 24, 2013 – May 1, 2014.
3. Anyone registered on our forum can participate. The following models can be entered: any Soviet (up to 1991) or any Russian (post-1991) designed military ground based vehicle (armored or “soft skin”) or towed artillery; Soviet/Russian AFVs in foreign service (incl. captured) or WWII Lend-Lease vehicles in the Soviet service.
4. No captured foreign vehicles/equipment in the Soviet service (except WWII lend-lease).
5. Each participant will have to open his own thread/forum topic in the Group Build sub-forum, and post his progress as he/she moves along. No models finished “outside” or prior to the build will be accepted for the final vote. But it is ok to join with a model that has been started on already. As long as it is not too close to its completion.
6. In the end of the Group Build best three models will receive prizes:
1st place – Amusing Hobby 1/35 “Object 279” model kit & Armor Journal t-shirt of his/her choice. And maybe more…
2nd & 3rd places will get their prizes too.
7. The voting for the best models will be conducted either via a popular vote (by registered members) or by judges.
8. If any vendor/manufacturer would like to sponsor this event, or provide additional prizes, your logo will be added to the cover of the Armor Journal Facebook page for the duration of this event. You banner (with a web link to your site) will be also added in the Forum header.
