Just for the fun of it:
This is how I started with the armor modeling. Something I did 4-5 years back probably from being bored. Didn't know much about weathering and other fancy techniques. Same about taking photos of models. Used an old Tamiya model kit. Now I will probably take it apart for spare parts

Thanks, YB! As I have mentioned before the model was from Tamiya, and it is a Sturmtiger. The scale is 1/35.

How well did it scale to space marines? Based on the Stormbolter, it looks about right....

Yes, the scale is pretty close. I would place Warhammer 40K in about 1/32nd scale, so the difference is not very noticeable.
